It was more than just a pumpkin patch, and we had so much fun! Lily got to see a lot of animals in person, not just look at them in books. She enjoyed looking at the baby lambs(photo above) and got to see and hear a turkey, as well as some goats, a donkey and a very large horse.

This was Lily's first hayride and she enjoyed feeling the bumps as we drove along the dirt road. Her thumb was in her mouth a good part of our trip because it was nap time.

Lily touched a gourd and tried to grab a hold of it, or should we say Mommy tried to make her hold it for a picture, but she was too tired to try.

Even though Lily did not touch a pumpkin she surely got to see a whole lot of them!
After our pumpkins were picked we enloyed some fresh made Kettle Korn, looked at the 12 foot high, 5 acre corn maze and then headed for home with Lily already asleep. It was a fun way to spend he first weekend in October!
