We had a great long weekend with our friends from Philly. It was not long enough, but it will have to do for now. We finally got to meet their son who was born in January and they got to meet Simon and see how much Lily has changed.
They won't be able to make it down for Lily's 2nd birthday party(I can't believe this girl is going to be 2 already) so Cynthia decorated our downstairs for her, gave her some gifts and bought her a birthday cake. It was fun. Lily loved the dress she got and had to put it on right away.
We bought a fire pit and Joel, Jason and Lily got the fire going on Saturday night and about 15 minutes later dark clouds rolled in out of nowhere and it started to pour. Joel was determined to get some s'mores though so he went out in the rain and roasted some marshmallows losing one on the run back in to the house. Lily and Jason sat out in the rain for a while and then came in and enjoyed the s'mores, or as you can see, Lily enjoyed the chocolate.
Cynthia bought the boys matching outfits and Lily wanted to be included in all the hype so she laid down next to them.

The Mamas and their boys! It will be fun to keep taking pictures like this throughout the years. It won't be long though before the boys are bigger than us!It was a great visit and we can't wait to see them again soon! Miss you guys! You said you were moving to Virginia in October, right?!?!
