Anniversary

Two years ago we got married in this spot

Today, we brought Lily to share in this special place with us

It was strange, in a good way, being back at Valhalla again. I remember feeling a similar strangeness when we visited last year for our anniversary. I had much shorter hair and we were afraid our brakes were going to go out on us while driving down the mountain. This year we had a child with us. Amazing. We just stood there for a while reminiscing about the wedding and the events surrounding it. Next, we took tons of pictures. Then we ventured to Maggie Moo's to remember our awesome ice cream cake, although this time I got raspberry sorbet that was really good. Jason stuck with the chocolate peanut butter, of course. Then we went to dinner, yes we ate dessert first, and talked about memories from the last year and plans for the upcoming year as a couple and as a family. It was a really nice, relaxing and enjoyable day.
