Growing and Learning

Seriously, she is getting way too big and she gives you the most ridiculous and goofy smile when she sees the camera and says "cheese!"

Lily has found her shadow and it is so much fun! She discovered it the other day while we were out for a jog on the Huckleberry trail and we got her out of the stroller to run the rest of the way to the car. It scared her a little that it was following her, but she would jump and watch it and then laugh and touch it and repeat. It has been a source of entertainment ever since. She even found it on the wall of our house! Today on our walk she was lying on mommy and daddy's shadows and laughing and hiding her shadow in ours.

She has also become quite the problem solver! She is a pro at moving chairs, toys, laundry baskets, whatever will assist her in accomplishing her goal really, to get what she wants. Today she climbed on a stack of books, onto my nightstand and then onto the bed so she could jump on the bed. We have to be very careful what we leave lying around now because she can pretty much reach anywhere her little heart desires. What will she think of next?
