Icicle

We discovered an icicle today hanging off of one of our friend's swings and Lily was fairly intrigued by it. She touched it softly once with one finger.

The next time she grabbed it using her entire hand and the icicle came off in her hand.

She didn't even look at me, but immediately tried to put it back on the bottom of the swing.

I'd like to say she was upset that she had broken it off, but that would be a lie. She was rather excited and promptly began chewing on and eating the icicle. She never once complained it was too cold, but she did drop it a few times and picked it up as quickly as possible. We tried to find other easily accessible icicles, but we didn't have any luck. I would like to say we will go exploring more tomorrow, but the weather is supposed to be yucky again, so we may just have to look at pictures of our explorations and plan to find more icicles another day.
